A New Club in the Ukraine

 

A new Kiwanis Club has started up in the Ukraine.

These are some of the pictures from their charter meeting.

new club. This is her letter...

Hello Marshall Kregel
I`m a president Kiwanis club in Kiev, Ukraine  Lora Pavlenko.The number of our club is K17550
On October, 13th we had opening and presentation of Kiwanis in Ukraine.
We have received a fine hall for this event. Members of our club and also visitors have been invited. At this meeting there were presidents of the different organizations which are engaged in social projects and programs. Also send officials which works in the state structures has came. There was an attache of Embassy of Mexico and also members of Kiwanis from America and Austria, and chief of department of the United Nations in Ukraine.
I also have invited family from America which lives in Kiev who are Kiwanian during the 20 years.
At this meeting we have presented our projects, there was an exhibition of children's works of homeless children which lives on the street and children which has an autism diagnosis. On presentation children have acted and welcomed visitors singing.
In the end we had a buffet table and fellowship.
For this meeting we have made a booklets about Ukrainian Kiwanis club and we made a webpage. For the present still in Russian but very soon we shall make English version.
Our club is officially invited to be in structure of representation of UN in Ukraine and our club will be included into the digest of the known organizations of Ukraine.
Also some art galleries has suggested to make exhibitions of children's works.
I trust that our club will have many interesting projects.
